The Force Unleashed
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsThe day has finally come for Star Wars fans. The Force Unleashed has hit the stores.
Which system should you buy the game for...who really knows? Maybe this will help you decide.
Wii Features:
* Wii Lightsaber Main reason? You\'d feel pretty freakin\' bad ass with one!
- Motions: Down to Up, Up to Down, Left to Right, Right to Left, Blocking, & straight thrusting
* Cool Nunchuk Controls
-Force Lightning, Choke, Push, Grab, Maelstrom, Repulse, etc...
* Duel Mode:
- 27 playable Apprentice, Master, Jedi, and Sith characters - Nine levels, including arenas from the movies as well as from the game
* Jedi Temple Level Exclusive to the wii!
- Naar Shadda & and Expanded Cloud City Stage
* Characters & Missions
360/PS3 Features
* Graphics
-Digital Molecular Matter (DMM) technology: Physics engine that simulates how a physical object would react in the real world. Ie: If you force throw an object into glass, it will smash and shatter depending on its weight and type of material - on screen, just like it would in real life
- Euphoria: A Behavioral-simulation engine that permits characters to behave like actual human beings: from moving to acting to, if you can believe it, even thinking! Since it\'s simulated, as opposed to scripted, you\'ll never have the same experiences when you encounter a euphoric situation.
Ratings:
XBox 360/PS3: 7.3
Nintendo Wii: 7.8
The overall consensus is that the game has great potential for future titles, but this version feels rushed and lacks depth in game play for all systems.
If you are a Star Wars fan, you can't go wrong with either version, because the fact of the matter is you will get to explore another great chapter in the world of George Lucas. But don't go into this game thinking that you are getting a title with the same quality and time that Nintendo puts into The Legend of Zelda franchise.

Ghosterbusters Searching For Publishers
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsThe new union of Activision Blizzard has announced its upcoming games lineup, and while former Sierra properties Crash and Spyro have been acquired by the conglomerate, Ghostbusters: The Video Game and several other titles are now in search of new publishers. Ghostbusters hasn't been canceled, but don't expect it until 2009!
Dr. Raymond Stantz...don't let them mess this game up. Big sales equals Ghostbusters 3...hopefully.
Come on, the original Ghost Busters just topped and online movie poll as the funniest comedy of all-time. We want more!

Sony Wireless Keypad For PS3
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsSony is introducing a wireless keypad that can be attached to the system's controller for chatting online, Web browsing and communicating on Playstation Home.
The Bluetooth-enabled keypad, available in November, is intended to make it easier to chat during multiplayer games. Currently players talk to each other over headsets with microphones, but gamers that are tired of hearing inane banter from their peers may welcome the ability to put down their earpieces and communicate through typing instead.
The keypad can also be used as a touch pad, with your finger becoming the mouse. This will be beneficial when surfing the web.
The keypad is finished in black and is powered via a rechargeable, lithium-ion battery.
The product sounds fine and dandy, but it seems to be a better fit for the Nintendo Wii, who is light years behind in their voice chat technology.

Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff For DS
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsSomebody call Bo Jackson, because the greatest football franchise is returning to the Nintendo DS. Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff is back and we are happy to say that several sources claim the game play will be very similar to the NES version, Tecmo Super Bowl.
The arcade-style sports game was a lot easier to get into than the Maddens of today. Madden takes months of dedication, while you can still have hours of endless play with Tecmo, the game also allows for fast fun as well.
Since Electronic Arts has the video game rights to use NFL Teams, logos, player likenesses and stadiums in gaming products through Super Bowl XLVII in 2013, Tecmo will be fighting a uphill battle.
But don't count Tecmo out. They have put together a solid online game that is completely customizable, so fans all over the world can create all their NFL favorites or even bring their high school football team to life.
Features:
• Customize your team: Choose your team colors, emblems, player names, team cities and abilities.
• Wi-Fi and Wireless Multiplayer: Play against your friends across the country or across the room.
• Stylus Control: Feel the action as you use the stylus to control your player.
• Variety of teams: Choose from 32 different teams, including the Los Angeles Super Cocks.
• Cut-scenes: All-new cut-scenes showing off the dramatic presentation of various plays.
• Super Abilities: Tactical use of the abilities will devastate the opposition.
• Customizable Playbook: Prepare for gridiron greatness by customizing your playbook.
• Music and sound effects: Turn up the heat on your opponent as you play the game to rock ‘n’ roll remixes of the most memorable tunes in football gaming history!
Several release dates are being thrown around. Nobody truly knows if the game will release in September or November. But either way this will be a great warm up for when Tecmo is released on the Wii in 2009. I'm sure Tecmo league commissioners are already preparing for the launch.

Madden Curse?
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsIs it me or is going to the Jets a curse in itself?
Madden hit the stores several hours ago at midnight. Go get your copy and be disappoint, just like the last 2 years.
Madden's exclusive NFL rights could be the worst thing that every happened to video gaming, because EA Sports just doesn't give a sh%t anymore.
