Pacman Is Back
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsAdam "Pacman" Jones has been cleared to play for the Dallas Cowboys this season by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
The overrated cornerback/kick returner was suspended all last season, when he was with the Tennessee Titans, because of an accumulation of arrests and legal problems.
In April Jones was traded to the Cowboys, where he was allowed to precipitate in training camp and preseason.
Goodell's reinstatement decision came Thursday, hours before Dallas' final preseason game.
"It feels good man, you know, to get a second chance and I just have to take advantage of it," Jones told The Dallas Morning News. "First and foremost, I don't want to let myself down, definitely my little girl down. I'm thankful for [Cowboys owner] Jerry [Jones], the fans in Dallas and my teammates for believing in me. I need to keep doing what I've been doing to get reinstated, staying with myself and my teammates and staying away from those knuckleheads and just stay focused."
Only time will tell if Dallas' gamble will pay dividends. I bet on bust. Although athletically gifted, Jones seems unwilling to learn technique and game plans, which are important when playing with the best of the best. I'm sure Dallas fans hope he proves me wrong.

Madden Curse?
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsIs it me or is going to the Jets a curse in itself?
Madden hit the stores several hours ago at midnight. Go get your copy and be disappoint, just like the last 2 years.
Madden's exclusive NFL rights could be the worst thing that every happened to video gaming, because EA Sports just doesn't give a sh%t anymore.

Favre A Jet
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsBrett Favre was trade to the N.J., oops I mean the New York Jets Wednesday night.
This is terrible!!! The Jets suck and have no explosive weapons. He might as well joined a baseball team.
After all of this drama, Favre is a Jet? I don't want to even comment on it anymore.
The whole Packers organization should die in the blizzard of 09. I wish death on the Packers season.

Favre Traded Within The Division?
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsAfter a 5 hour meeting on Monday night Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers are at a stalemate. Although the Packers will say otherwise, they are not welcoming back Favre as their starting quarterback.
There doesn't seem to be a good end to this nightmare. Stand strong Favre, stand strong.
With no press conference before their 2pm practice. The saga will continue until a quality trade within the division is on the table, which the organization is completely against.
Once again, coach Mike McCarthy should kill himself!

Return Of The Favre
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsGuess who's back...back again. Favre is back...tell a friend.
The Green Bay Packers reluctantly embraced Brett Favre’s forced return to the football field Sunday, after failing to bribe Favre into staying retired.
This is the right choice for the Packers, Favre, the fans, and for the NFL. With Favre's return, the Packers are now contenders for a Super Bowl appearance. Well, that is if they name him the starter for the cheese heads.
The NFL announced Sunday that Favre will be reinstated and added to the Packers’ active roster on Monday.
The reinstatement will become effective at 1 p.m. EDT Monday, when Favre will be added to the Packers’ active roster. By reinstating Favre, Roger Goodell is following through on a recent promise to force action.
A trade still remains a possibility.
Head coach, Mike McCarthy will now talk to the team and the quarterbacks about the plan moving forward, and after he has done that, the organization will share it publicly.
Favre could be on the field as early as Tuesday, which is the team's next public practice.
The Green Bay Packers should kill themselves if they don't hand over the starting position to Favre by the end of training camp. Favre has been their leader for far to long to let an unestablished player steal his position after leading the team to the NFC Championship game last season.
