Brad Pitt Takes On 'Moneyball'
Brad Pitt Takes On 'Moneyball', Too
from Cinematical by Eugene Novikov Brad Pitt's got a busy schedule. Not only has he attached himself to George Miller's outer-space adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey, but he's also planning to star in an adaptation of Michael Lewis's non-fiction Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game. Moneyball is an insider account of the way Billy Beane put together the 2002 Oakland Athletics, using the power of scouting and sabremetrics to overcome a financial disadvantage. Brad Pitt As Billy Beane? Yeah, That Will Work. Sure
Holy bad movie ideas, Batman! From Variety...
Brad Pitt is adding to his busy schedule by playing ball for Columbia.
Steve Zaillian has signed on to adapt Michael Lewis’ nonfiction bestseller "Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game," and David Frankel is attached to direct. Project is being developed as a potential starring vehicle for Brad Pitt.Book’s subject is Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane, who assembled a contending baseball club on a shoestring budget by employing a sophisticated computer-based analysis to draft players.

There was a girl in college. There was a girl in college in one of my classes. There was a girl in college in one of my classes that I often felt like walking out of. Instead, we'd pass the time talking quietly and jotting witty quips on our "notes."
I got to know her and thought something along the lines of "Hey, this is a pretty cool chick." I didn't throw myself out there much, but for some reason I did this time. I called her up and asked if she wanted to grab some coffee. She hemmed and hawed a bit and said that she'd love to, but she had to "go running."...
