Future Hall of Fame Quarterback Brett Favre has reached a compromise with Green Bay General Manager Ted Thompson and will not report to training camp which began at 7:30am Central time this Sunday.

In an effort not to be a distraction to what seems will be his former team, Favre is allowing the organization time to work a deal with another team.

Favre also said: "I've also spoken with Commissioner [Roger] Goodell a couple of times this week, in hopes that he could be some sort of arbitrator in this. I hope he can be."

Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy isn't quite sure how this will play out over the next few days. But he does know this much: Favre or no Favre, Aaron Rodgers is his starting quarterback.

Well, if McCarthy can't tell you how it's going to play out, then I can. The Packers will trade Favre and the team will struggle to make the playoffs this season. If the Packers are lucky they could possibly slip in to the playoffs week 16 or 17 only because the NFC sucks.

This is a bad move by the Packers, who are a young franchise with a bright future. Their bright future could have been right now. Favre gives this team an immediate shot at winning a Super Bowl and you are going to trade him away so Aaron Rogers gets a fair shake?

Let's be real. This isn't Pop Warner football, where everybody gets a chance to play. The best should take the field and we all know Favre is better then Rogers. I think even Rogers knows that...

Packers Shopping Favre

According to NFL analyst Adam Schefter, the Green Bay Packers have contacted 20 teams about a possible trade for future Hall or Famer, Brett Favre.

Roger Goodell talked to Packers GM Ted Thompson, who confirmed the team was ready to move on without Favre. Goodell asked Thompson to begin exploring the market for the disgruntled QB, acccording to WEAU 13, an NBC television affiliate in Wisconsin.

The most talk about a team in the NFC, is quarterback happy Jon Gruden's Tampy Bay Buccaneers. Gruden has a history with Favre as his former quarterbacks coach.

If a deal is going to get done, it should happen soon. Camps are starting and there is sure to be a media frenzy around a trade involving Favre.

Favre's best shot at winning another Super Bowl is with the Packers, but other NFL fans can't help imagine the possibilities if Favre were to join their favorite team.

Places I would like to see Favre:

Vikings (but won't happen with the tampering charges)

Eagles (only if McNabb's injury is more serious then thought)

Bears (just isn't going to happen)

Tampa Bay (it works for me...he could help their struggling offense)

Ravens (dumb not to sign him)

Dolphins (would be fun, they haven't had somebody good since Mario)

Titians (could use him and Young at the same time)

Jets (why not, all their quarterbacks suck)

Redskins (could make them an actual contender, otherwise they are 3rd or 4th best in their division)

Wow! And the Brett Favre saga keeps getting dumber everyday. It almost looks as if Vince McMahon is writing this story himself. Actually, that would be a slap in the face to the WWE.

In the latest twist, the Packers have filed tampering charges with the league office against the Minnesota Vikings for alleged communication with Green Bay's future Hall of Famer.

The Packers general manager Ted Thompson declined to comment.

If the NFL finds out that Darrell Bevell, Vikings offensive coordinator, had inappropriate dialogue with Favre the Vikings will be subject to a loss of draft picks and heavy fines.

How they are going to prove these allegations, is an enigma to myself.

Megan Fox Is Still NOT Single

The rumors of Megan Fox dumping her tool bag boyfriend from 90210 are all false. Unfortunately, people caught her on camera leaving Brian Austin Green's house the other day. She is still nice to look at but she is ten times hotter when you know she isn't with a d-bag.

Maybe you can find him on this site: www.hotchickswithdouchebags.com

Favre Fires Back!

"You're telling me playing there is not an option, but playing elsewhere, we just can't -- we're trying to protect your legacy," Favre said. "Well, thank you. I appreciate that. But apparently now, they're trying to protect my legacy by bringing me back and having me be a backup. Boy, that is really good."

Well put Brett.

In a recent interview, Favre said the Packers were being dishonest, although he did not point out specific examples in the portion of the interview aired Monday. A second segment is scheduled to air Tuesday.

"If you move on, you tell me one thing, don't come back and tell the public ... just say it, 'You know, we've moved on and we'll work with Brett on whatever it is,'" Favre said. "Don't make up a lot of stuff or give half of the truth."

That is my point as well. Don't spit a bunch of BS, like Brett can return as a back up. We all know if Favre returns to Green Bay he will win the starting job. He's the best quarterback whether the organization likes it or not. Favre gives them their best shot at winning and they'd be dumb to ruin that opportunity.

Trades are not looking so likely...the Packers wouldn't trade him to anybody in the NFC. Over in the AFC, the Jets and Ravens are not interested. Miami is just coming back from vacation and is showing interest, but I'm not sure if Favre would be okay as a Dolphin.
