No Mutt Williams
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsDirector George Lucas has ruled out making a new Indiana Jones movie around Shia Labeouf's character in the third sequel, because the action franchise would be nothing without main star Harrison Ford. See, I told you Lucus was a genius.
The Star Wars creator had previously hinted that a fifth adventure could focus more on Indiana Jones' son, Mutt Williams, the role played by Labeouf in this year's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Then Ford could complement him like Sean Connery did for Ford in the Last Crusade.
But Lucas has now backtracked over his comments, insisting Ford "is Indiana Jones". Nobody wants to see troubled star Labeouf as the main character. His likability is slowly declining.
Lucas still insists there are no definite plans for a fifth movie just yet.
He adds, "The franchise really depends on me coming up with a good idea."
"And that series is very research intensive. So we're doing research now to see if we can't come up with another object for him to chase... hopefully we'll come up with something."
We'll all be keeping our fingers crossed. Or at least I will...

Indy 5?
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsGeorge Lucas has been discussing the possibility of a fifth film in the franchise, stating "If I can come up with another idea that they like, we'll do another." I don't care what anybody else thinks...I like it!
In The Sunday Times, Lucas said that putting together the recently released sequel was a challenge. "Indiana Jones only becomes complicated when you have another two people saying 'I want it this way' and 'I want it that way', whereas when I first did Jones, I just said 'We'll do it this way' - and that was much easier.
"But now", he went on, "I have to accommodate everybody, because they are all big, successful guys too, so it's a little hard on a practical level."
With Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull taking more than $750m worldwide, a fifth film seems highly likely.
Personally, I think people are too hard on Lucas. He has revolutionized movie making and come up with some legendary characters. I have faith that Lucas, Spielberg and Ford can all come together for the 5 installment. Maybe Jones can bump into Willie Scott. Or maybe not.

New Indy Trailer?
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsIndiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull should by far be the best movie of the summer. But after watching the trailer I was a bit confused with my emotions. Even though I have complete trust in Lucas, Ford and Speilberg, something just didn't sit right with me after the first trailer.

Expect a new trailer to roll out in mid-April, or a little later with Iron Man on May 2. Hopefully, that trailer will clear my mind. Don't get me wrong, either way I will be there opening at midnight:)

Favortie Character From The Past Vol. 2
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsWillie Scott
Wilhelmina Scott was raised on a farm in Missouri, but from a young age her ambitions lay firmly in Hollywood. Unable to break into the American film industry during the Great Depression, Scott escaped to the Far East, where she landed roles in several Shanghai productions. Her efforts earned her the attention of local crime lord Lao Che, who hired her as a singer for his popular nightspot, Club Obi Wan. Earl Weber, played by Dan Aykroyd helped the Willie, Indy and Short Round escape the wraths of Lao Che.
Their gate-a-way lead to a series of events that ended up bringing the trio to Pankot Palace in India. There, a fledgling romance between Scott and Jones stalled abruptly when Willie nearly became the victim of human sacrifice, perpetrated by the underground Thuggee cult and its maniacal leader, Mola Ram. Just as Scott was being lowered into a pit of molten lava, Indy and Short Round came to her rescue. With the aid of Captain Blumburtt and his Eleventh Puma Rifles, Pankot Palace was freed from the grip of Ram and the Thuggee; and Willie, Indy, and Short Round returned to the United States.
I only wish for a Willie Scott cameo in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, even though it is not likely to happen.
Willie: Ooh, what big birds!
Indiana Jones: Those aren't big birds, sweetheart! They're giant vampire bats!
