No Mutt Williams
Director George Lucas has ruled out making a new Indiana Jones movie around Shia Labeouf's character in the third sequel, because the action franchise would be nothing without main star Harrison Ford. See, I told you Lucus was a genius.
The Star Wars creator had previously hinted that a fifth adventure could focus more on Indiana Jones' son, Mutt Williams, the role played by Labeouf in this year's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Then Ford could complement him like Sean Connery did for Ford in the Last Crusade.
But Lucas has now backtracked over his comments, insisting Ford "is Indiana Jones". Nobody wants to see troubled star Labeouf as the main character. His likability is slowly declining.
Lucas still insists there are no definite plans for a fifth movie just yet.
He adds, "The franchise really depends on me coming up with a good idea."
"And that series is very research intensive. So we're doing research now to see if we can't come up with another object for him to chase... hopefully we'll come up with something."
We'll all be keeping our fingers crossed. Or at least I will...

Shia LaBeouf Arrested For DUI
True to the Transformers slogan, "more then meets the eye", seemingly clean cut Shia LaBeouf was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving Sunday after an early morning 3 a.m. car accident in Hollywood, said police.
LaBeouf was supposedly treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for injuries to his head, left hand, and knee. His unidentified female passenger and the driver of the other vehicle were not seriously injured.
LaBeouf, 22, was booked for a misdemeanor DUI and released.
All of LaBeouf's previous brush ins with the law have been relatively harmless.
In November, he was accused of drunken trespassing after refusing to leave a Chicago, Illinois convenience store at 4am, but the misdemeanor charges were subsequently dropped.
Then, in February, he was charged with smoking in a prohibited area in California - to which he pleaded guilty and was forced to pay a $500 fine for the offense.
This looks like a continuing trend for the former child star. As his pockets grow, so do his troubles.

Is Indy's Kid Going To Jail?
An arrest warrant has been issued for actor Shia LaBeouf, co-star of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, after he failed to show up in court on Tuesday to face an unlawful smoking charge.
I'm sure there is more than meets the eye here, but hopefully this won't be a trend that continues for you Shia.
