The King Of Voice Over Dies
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsVoice over legend Don LaFontaine has died after suffering from a collapsed lung at age 68.
During his lengthy career, LaFontaine lent his booming vocal chords to more than 5,000 movie trailers and 300,000 radio and TV commercials, including advertisements for corporate giants such as McDonalds, Coca-Cola and Budweiser.
LaFontaine's agent, Vanessa Gilbert, tells ETonline.com that he died following complications from pneumothorax. This is when air or gas gets into the pleural cavity, after a lung collapse.
However, the official cause of death has yet to be confirmed.
The words, "In a world where...", will never quite sound the same again.

I Am Legend Prequel
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsDirector Francis Lawrence has confirmed he is working on a follow-up to the hit 2007 film and Will Smith's character Dr. Robert Neville will return to complete the beginning of the story.
Exciting news for fans!!! Possibly horrifying news for fellow New Yorker's, considering the first film shut down many streets and sparked chaos among commuters and city workers.
But Lawrence insists that filming the follow-up will be much easier than working on the original, because the crew will not have to shut off large areas of New York City again.

The Zelda Team Working Again
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsCan you say Wii Zelda exclusive? I can, and I'm sure all the fan boys in the universe are about to explode in their pants.
Nintendo vaguely confirmed that the Zelda team is reassembled, along with the Mario team as well. So, expect at least two great titles, if not more if you are including the Nintendo DS.
I wouldn't expect anything in 2008, but 2009 has huge possibilities awaiting.
Reported from ign.com, Eiji Aonuma gave a presentation on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess at GDC 2007. At that time, he showed a brief snippet of an experimentation the Zelda team conducted -- it was Twilight Princess running in the first-person view. They asked Miyamoto if such a fundamental change could await players of Wii's next Zelda adventure.
"I don't necessarily think it will change that drastically, but I think that Zelda is a franchise that does need some big new unique ideas," he said. "And so the team right now is very focused on trying to find those ideas."
With the addition of Wii MotionPlus, the next Zelda could be out of control. I can't wait to spend 3 full work weeks playing video games.

Legend Of Zelda Movie Trailer Premiere
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsThank God this is a April fools joke, because this is the biggest piece of crap I've ever seen. This indie movie is a disgrace to Nintendo and anybody who has ever played The Legend of Zelda franchise. Please don't mess this up Hollywood or ign.com
Take a look at this crap if you dare. It is 2 minutes and 47 seconds that I will never get back.
