Lisa Marie Presley Delivers Twin Girls
A publicist says the 40-year-old singer gave birth Tuesday to twin girls, whose names were not released. One baby weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces and the other came in at 5 pounds and 2 ounces.
A statement released Saturday says Presley gave birth by Caesarean section. She lives in the Los Angeles area and the publicist says the births took place somewhere on the West Coast but won’t provide details.The statement says “babies and mom are happy and healthy and resting at home.”
Presley is the only child of Elvis Presley and is married to music producer Michael Lockwood. She has a 19-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old son by a previous marriage.

Lisa Marie Presley has given birth to twin girls.
The 40-year-old singer welcomed the babies into the world - weighing 5 lbs 15 oz and 5 lbs 2 oz - after having a caesarean section last Tuesday (07.10.08), her spokesperson Cindy Guagenti has revealed.
Cindy, who wouldn't reveal the infants' names, said: "The babies and mom are happy and healthy and resting at home."
The twins are Lisa Marie's first children with husband Michael Lockwood, 47.
She also has two children, 19-year-old daughter Riley and 15-year-old son Benjamin, with ex-husband musician Danny Keough.
Lisa Marie's mother Priscilla revealed the pregnancy following speculation about her daughter's weight gain.
She said: "She wanted it really to be kept a secret for a long time, and I think women should, because they should be able to announce what they're having and when it's time...

Lisa Marie Presley gave birth to twin girls Friday, October 10 at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, California. Just Jared cited Star magazine, which broke the news, as reporting her musician husband Michael Lockwood was by her side and so did her children Danielle Riley and Benjamin Storm, whom she has with then husband Danny Keough.
Details of the newborn infants have not yet been released as of press time. Neither Lisa nor her camp has issued a statement about the new additions.
