Central Maine Medical Center is proud to announce a new cancer center which will be named after actor Patrick Dempsey, for his support and large donation. The Grey's Anatomy star made a special appearance Tuesday afternoon at the Hospital in Maine to publicly announce the new cancer center. This project is scheduled to be open on March 31, and it was inspired by Dempsey's mother, Amanda Dempsey, who fought off ovarian cancer.
Patrick's sister, Mary, who currently works at the hospital will be taking over the new cancer center as soon as it opens. Good Luck with everything and everyone who attends it.
