Matthew McConaughey and his longtime girl friend, Camila Alves, have just recently conceived their first child.
Camila Alves gave birth to a 7 pound and 4 ounce boy Monday night. Their child's name is Levi Alves McConaughey.
Curious on how McConaughey came up with the name Levi? Matthew McConaughey told Ok! magazine that “Levi was another name for the apostle Matthew in The Bible. They were, in fact, two names for the same person. Our son was born at 6:22 p.m., and this particular time represents my favorite verse in the book of Matthew in The Bible: ‘If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light’.”
Another clothing line is in production and this time its focused on beach wear. Matthew McConaughey, who seems to always been seen wearing shorts without a shirt, is now coming out with his new line of clothes called J.K. Livin, which stands for "Just Keep Livin".
He plans on selling bathing suits, shirts, beach toys and more. His merchandise will be available sometime this summer on his website, http://www.matthewmcconaughey.com/
Vantage Point is an entertaining movie that has grossed 40.8 million after 2 weekends in the U.S. Not great, but not too shabby. I actually enjoyed the movie myself, but I still can't believe the timeline issues that went unseen by the writer, director, producer and editor.
Hopefully somebody else noticed...if you feel my pain, please let your words be heard as well. And if I am wrong, I stand corrected.
For the sake of making this more confusing then it already is, I will use the movie character names to explain my problem. After the President is shot in the movie chaos ensues. Thomas Barnes and Holden are restraining Enrique, who is impersonating a police officer. While this is taking place, Veronica, Enrique's ex-love interest throws a bomb bag under the President's podium. Are you following me so far?
Later on in the movie we find out that immediately after Veronica throws the bag, she meets up with Suarez, the main villain and changes into a medical outfit. Veronica and Suarez debate whether to kill Javier's bother, the person they are blackmailing to kidnap the President. Suarez kills the brother, they both get in an ambulance and then remote detonate the bomb. Wow!!!
The problem is that the movie shows the bomb being set off about 30 seconds after it is dropped. That is being generous. There is absolutely no way Veronica could have dropped the bomb and accomplished everything else that I explained. They should have had the secret camera man drop the bomb, because he did almost nothing for Suarez before being killed off as extra baggage by the end of the film.
I assume production realizes these flaws but figures people will over look the mistakes and enjoy the movie for what it is worth...as did I.
