Red Sox's Papelbon Wants Big Money
Seems like this spring season all the youngsters are looking for big paydays, everyone wants a raise. Papelbon is looking to double his salary, Cole Hamels is crying in Philadelphia and Ryan Howard just got a huge raise. Maybe since Howard received such a massive increase in salary everyone else is looking to get the same.
Papelbon has had excellent numbers in the past two years, he has 35 saves in 37 save opportunities. However, Papelbon, 27 years of age, has no room to negotiate with the Red Sox because of his lack of Major League Baseball experience. Papelbon is unable to take his team to arbitration and will not be a free agent until 2013.
Stop your bitching and suck it up, you been around for a year and half with their organization, show your teammates you are a team player and not only worried about your pay check.

Is Barry Bonds Pregnant?
Probably not...but in my opinion he looked fat as hell on 2/19/08 at Lucky Strike Lanes in Hollywood during Eddie Murphy's buyout party.
Barry needs to hit the slim fast if he thinks he's got a shot of returning to Major League Baseball.
He's no Babe Ruth. That man played the game on beer and hot dogs.

Soriano Fractures Finger
Chicago Cubs All-Star outfielder suffered a fractured finger the other day during the morning workout. It is reported that he is a small fracture on the middle finger of his right hand. The Chicago Tribune seems to believe it is nothing to worry about, he should only be out for maximum a week. No need to worry Soriano will be 100 percent by time spring training is over.

Phillies "Low Blow" Hamels
Yesterday the Philadelphia Phillies offered, 24 year old, Cole Hamels a $500,000 contract. Hamels was not happy with this offer as he felt "disrespected and called it a low blow. You think Cole Hamels is just jealous on how much Ryan Howard made with his deal a few weeks ago and now Hamels wants a big chunk of money?
