Cowboys\' Romo Has Broken Finger, May Miss 4 Weeks
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has a broken finger on his throwing hand and could be out for up to four weeks.
Romo broke his right pinkie on the first play of overtime in a 30-24 loss at Arizona on Sunday, according to a posting on the team's official Web site. The team had no immediate comment, though players responded to the news.
The injury leaves the Cowboys (4-2) with 40-year-old Brad Johnson as the starter for Sunday's game at St. Louis. Johnson, who won a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay, hasn't started a game since 2006 in Minnesota.
Neither Romo nor Johnson was in the locker room Monday when it was open to reporters.
When linebacker Greg Ellis was told about Romo's broken finger, he got a somewhat stunned looked on his face and exclaimed, "Wow!" Bradie James said the players will have to rally around each other.

Tony Homo ( Romo ) Is Hurt !!
Tony Romo broke the pinkie on his throwing hand in overtime in Sunday's loss to Arizona. Romo is expected to miss the next four weeks, one of which is a bye.
Brad Johnson is the appropriate pick-up. He's a must-add player for Week 7, since the Cowboys travel to St. Louis. The 40-year-old Johnson isn't quite as interesting in Week 8 against Tampa, however, or in Week 9 at New York. His playmaking days are behind him -- like, five or six years behind him.
If your fantasy team is 4-2 or 5-1 right now, stop reading and go make a respectable offer for Romo. The injury impacts the value of every Dallas skill position player, of course, but not so much that you'd sit any of them.
We'll have more on this as details emerge. For now, enjoy the comments over at the Dallas Morning News' Cowboys...

Tony Romo Suffers Broken Pinky Finger In Sunday's Game
It was announced today that Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback Tony Romo broke his pinky finger in yesterday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. Romo's doctor says that he will be unable to play for the next month and that development while tragic could actually be a positive event for a deflated Cowboys team that seems to be playing without any spirit or purpose this season.
While I never would wish an injury on a football player, the good news is that Tony Romo's pinky finger injury while painful - can be treated and he is expected to make a full recovery and play again before this season ends. Now there will be a new starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys and sometimes a change at the top of a football program actually helps a team play better.
Over the next four weeks, Cowboys fans and coaches will be better...

Cowboys Continue To Crash: Tony Romo Out For Four Weeks
The Monday morning "OMG IT'S LIVE SO IT'S OBVIOUSLY WORTH WATCHING NOW" SportsCenter program came in handy for the first time in recent memory. And old memory. Or whatever the opposite of recent memory is.
Michael Smith broke the story that America's Team's, America's quarterback Tony Romo is going to miss four weeks due to a broken finger. There are so many dirty ways to take a story about Jessica Simpson's boy toy having a broken finger, none of which I will expand upon in this here blog space. If you care about the fantasy impact though, this is huge.
Terrell Owens, Patrick Crayton, and Jason Witten obviously take huge value hits. I mean really, name the Dallas backup. Bueller? Bueller?
It's Brad Johnson. Of USA Today 2003 All-Joe team and 2003 Pro Bowl "Quarterbacks Challenge" Winner fame. In 2003. Five years ago. He could...
