Former NFL Kicker, Tony Zendejas, was arrested back in January and faced his charges this past Thursday in court. No final decision has been decided in his case yet. Zendejas is being charged with multiple felonies of raping a female customer of his San Dimas sports bar.

Tony Zendejas is being charged for rape by use of drugs, rape of an unconcscious person, sodomy by anesthesia and sodomy of an unconscious victim. The former Los Angeles Rams kicker is 48 years of age and is looking up to 15 years in jail. His bail was $260,000 dollars!

Shit I don't care how old you are if you are wealthy and used to be a professional athlete I am sure you can pull in some ass without having to use the date rape drug.

Jacksonville Jaguars 2005 first round pick, Matt Jones was arrested early Thursday on felony drug charge after police found him in a parked car, cutting up what was suspected to be cocaine.

The officers say they found a jar with possible marijuana residue inside the car and a plastic bag of what was likely cocaine. Officers say Jones admitted he had cocaine.

Great, nothing like adding drug charges to your first round bust status.

NFL New Rules For 2008

On Tuesday the NFL owners concluded their annual meeting with quick passages of several proposals and by tabling the re-seeding idea for the playoffs as well as the Kansas City Chiefs' proposal to prohibit hair hanging over the back of jerseys to the nameplate.

Without the necessary 24 votes to pass a re-seeding plan to give wild-card teams the chance to host playoff games, the Competition Committee tabled the concept to a later meeting, most likely May.

Why are we messing with the playoff system? The NFL is the closest league to being perfect and now the owners are trying to mess up the playoffs. It doesn't make sense. They need to leave that proposal of the table until Elvis returns.

The proposals that were passed:

• A recommendation to eliminate force-out decisions on pass completions near the sidelines was approved. Now, officials will only have to decide whether a receiver landed in bounds or not. The intended result is more consistency. It is a good call.

• The "Phil Dawson field goal rule" change passed. Now, certain field goals can be reviewed by instant replay, including kicks that bounce off the uprights. Under the previous system, no field goals could be replayed. Sure, why not?

• Coaches can now defer a decision on the opening coin toss. This is similar to the college rule. Previously, the winner of the coin toss could only choose to receive or kick off. Who cares?

• A direct snap from center that goes backward will now be treated as a fumble. Previously, it was ruled a false start. What? Sure.

• The 5-yard face mask penalty was eliminated. Now, only the serious face mask will be called (and will be assessed as a 15-yard penalty). The major foul will involve twisting or grabbing the face mask. I like it.

It passed a rule to allow defensive players to wear radio helmets on Tuesday. It's only fair.

Pacman Jones mentioned to Hall of Famer, Michael Irvin, on a radio interview that he was hoping to continue his playing days in the eew Dallas Stadium.

Some information has leaked that the trade negotiations have come to a halt. The Tennessee Titans offered to give up Pacman Jones for a 4th round pick in this coming draft along with another selection in next year's draft.

Dallas believes this offer is not worth the trouble of a criminal and they are right considering that they are the only team shopping for him. Titans might as well see things as a lose for them and part ways with Pacman Jones any way they can, asking for two picks is a bit pricey for someone that has been suspended and still is suspended for over a year.
