Thank you WhiteKhakis!!! WhiteKhakis shows us the secret to success on how to smash Yoshi on youtube.com. The trick is to kill off Pit to expand your screen view point, then you can see where each Yoshi is coming from. It still isn't easy, even WhiteKhakis went down to the last second.

Playing this Yoshi event on hard in Super Smash Bros. Brawl seems to be impossible. You have 2 minutes and 12 seconds to smash Yoshi off the sceen 50 times. Smashing Yoshi is not the difficult part, it is the fact that Yoshi does not respawn fast enough. You actually waste 8 seconds in the beginning just waiting for the first Yoshi to appear.

Hard3ight, at a gamespot.com blog claims he beat the mission after 5 attempts and it was not that hard. This person is full of bullsh%t!!! It would be one thing if he explained his secret, but he gives no advice how to speed up the respawn time of Yoshi, so I don't believe him. Anybody that leads you to believe it wasn't a big deal to beat event is a lair.

If Hard3ight is so sure of his technic, I love to see it on youtube.com, but my guess is that it is not going to happen.

Yes, that's right, I'm calling you out, Hard3ight. Prove me wrong!

Nintendo of America officially set a release date for Mario Kart Wii. Sunday, April 27th 2008 fans of the series will be able to hit the circuit once again. No announcement has been made about a mid night release, but don't be surprise if GameStop steps up again to help out loyal fans of the series get a copy in their hands as soon as it is legally possible.

Previously, NOA suggested that Kart Wii might arrive after the May debut of Wii Fit, but apparently that is not the case.

Mario Kart Wii comes packaged with the Wii Wheel. In addition to a wide selection of new tracks and vehicles, the title features a 12-player online component and compatibility with multiple different controller configurations.

For those afraid of the Wii Wheel, not to worry, Mario Kart Wii supports four different control options: Wii Remote with or without the Wii Wheel, Wii Remote and Nunchuk controller combo, Classic Controller and even the Nintendo GameCube controller. So there's bound to be a configuration that fits everyone's style.

Also, Mario Kart Wii launches with a new channel added to the Wii Menu to enhance game play: The Mario Kart Wii Channel. This new channel builds on the huge online community of Wii owners and lets players compete in tournaments, check worldwide rankings, see when their friends are playing and download ghost data.

Stay to tune for details. As of right now, we know Nintendo of Europe will not support voice chat for Mario Kart Wii, which leads us to believe the U.S. version will be the same. But there is always hope.

Master your Master System

Sega and Nintendo recently announced that games from Sega's 8-bit systems - the Master System, Mark III, and Game Gear portable - will be coming to the Wii's Virtual Console in Japan. The SG-1000 Mark III is an 8-bit video game console made by Sega. It was the original Japanese incarnation of the Sega Master System. As of right now, no decision has been made on whether the games will be available in North America, but in Japan the first releases will cost 600 Wii points. The Sega Master System is best know for its groundbreaking RPG Phantasy Star. Long live Alis, Odin, Myau, and Noah.

by Matt Casamassina

March 10, 2008 - If you live in Japan or America, you already have access to Wii's most anticipated game, Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The chances are therefore very good that you're already playing with the 35 different fighters across dozens of unique, stylized stages. And Nintendo itself is planning to deliver even more levels your way in the future by way of WiiConnect24 – the publisher will send you a handpicked user-created fight stage per day, every single day. Still, there's one big limitation: you won't be able to save these user-created arenas.

This, dear readers, is where IGN comes in. Introducing Super Smash Bros. World, your one-stop destination for a never-ending stream of user-created Brawl content. Looking for spectacular new user-created Smash Bros. stages? Maybe you'd prefer to upload some of your own creations? We've got you covered.

If you've got a Wii, a copy of Smash Bros. Brawl, an SD Card and a PC or Mac, you're in business. Super Smash Bros. World enables you to very quickly upload the stages you've created to the site, and you can just as effortlessly download the soon-to-be-thousands of user-created stages to your PC or Mac, transfer them to an SD Card, pop it into your Wii and get ready to fight.

Go to Super Smash Bros. World. You can even rate the stages featured on Super Smash Bros. World so that they rise or decline in popularity and status, making the selection process for all users more intuitive. Even better, you'll be able to download and upload stages compatible with either the U.S. or Japanese versions of the game – just select which build you have, upload or download, and it'll all work seamlessly.

Here's a quick video of an IGN-designed stage. You can download it right now at Super Smash Bros. World.

The rest is up to you. IGN invites its Smash Bros.-loving readers to get busy creating stages so that our new hub will be populated by a huge selection of fight arenas, created by the gamers for the gamers, as it were.
