Rundown Of The NLCS And The ALCS
First off, sorry for not being able to publish my Eagles report yesterday. Time got ahead of me, and I was unable to write anything. But anyway, let's get to the task at hand.
The MLB playoffs are heating up and are getting quite interesting.
Heading into last night, the Los Angeles Dodgers were coming off of a game three win to put their series with the Phillies to 2-1 in favor of Philadelphia. Many were looking at the big game for the Dodgers as a turn-around game and predicted the Dodgers to come back and win. Not so fast my friends! Shane Victorino and Matt Stairs beg to differ.
The Phillies had taken an early 2-0 lead, only to lose that lead. The game went back and forth for seven innings, and in the eigth inning, everything went well for the Phillies.

Dan Klecko Now A Fullback In Green
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsDan Klecko was just recently signed to a two year deal by the Philadelphia Eagles this afternoon. The former defensive tackle is going to be converted to the fullback position.
"Everything I've ever done at fullback has been very raw," Klecko said. "This is going to be a whole learning experience."
Weighing in at 275 lbs this monster will have to lose at least 20lbs and learn all the secrets of the fullback position in order to lead Westbrooke to a great rushing season.
Eagles released their last year's starting fullback, Thomas Tapeh, and also are hoping for some backup from Jason Davis who was the Eagles practice squad in 2007.

Philadelphia Drops Takeo Spikes
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsPhiladelphia Eagles seemed to be losing everyone on Defense since their recent addition of Asante Samuel. They are even hoping to do some shopping with their stud corner back Lito Shepard.
Takeo Spikes came last year to the Eagles and was second on the team in tackles with 139. Eagles saved $5 million dollars by releasing Takeo Spikes.
I do not know if I like this move just yet, He was a stud last year for the Eagles and showed nothing but heart on and off the field. The Philadelphia Eagles better have something good up their sleeve if they are worried about the $5 million dollars they were going to pay their number two tackler last season.

Philly Stalking Larry Fitzgerald
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsPhiladelphia Eagles are in the hunt for a big named WR. Since the bitter departure of TO, the Eagles have struggled to support their Pro Bowl QB, Donovan McNabb, with an elite WR.
Their most recent and top choice, after losing Randy Moss to NE, is Larry Fitzgerald from the Arizona Cardinals. The dude is an elite WR, athletic, tall, strong, and fast and would greatly improve McNabb's horrible inaccurate passing game along with giving the Eagles only true offensive player a rest from time to time, Brian Westbrook.
So far it seems as if Arizona Cardinals are not looking to get rid of the WR at any cost.
Sorry Eagles fans but things aren't looking too good. I really wish Moss would of taken that BIG contract Philly offered him recently it would of been nice to see Moss and TO go at it twice a year.
