Resident Evil 5 announced at the Microsoft E3 Press Conference the co-op play will be available throughout the entire game on both Xbox 360 and PS3.
The hop-in/hop-out game play will allow friends around the world to kill zombies together. Double the fun!!!
The host will always be Chris, while the friend joining the campaign will be Sheva Alomar. She is a B.S.A.A. agent from Africa, which is where the plot takes place.
Resident Evil 5 takes place in Africa. Famitsu has released that a new character will be joining the cast.
Sheva Alomar is Resident Evil's newest heroine. She will work along side Chris in this upcoming title. Sheva is an agent in the West African branch of the B.S.A.A. (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance), the organization whose North American branch has Chris's loyalty.
RE 5 will release for XBox 360 and PS3 sometime in 2009. Sorry Wii owners.
