Lethal Weapon 5 Rumored
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsRecent reports claim the Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are keen on reprising their roles for Lethal Weapon 5. Why not? Genius even...
Screenwriter Shane Black, the creator and original writer of Lethal Weapon and The Monster Squad, has supposedly handed in a detailed treatment to Joel Sivler. This has been reported by TrackingB.com.
The story reportedly revolves around the impending retirement of Martin Riggs (Gibson), who enlists his retired partner Roger Murtaugh (Glover) to help him crack one last case.
Come on...one last case. You mean one last case until both of them come out of retirement in Lethal Weapon 6!

The Monster Squad Blu-ray!!!!
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsThe Monster Squad two-disc 20th anniversary special edition DVD was released by Lionsgate on July 24, 2007. Hopefully it doesn't take another 20 years for it to come to Blu-ray.
Well, according to Fred Dekker, the film's director, all are dreams and wishes could be answered soon. At a special 35mm screening in Los Angeles on March 21st, 2008, Dekker announced Blu-ray is a definite possibility! The DVD contains a wide range of special features including a 5-part retrospective documentary, 2 audio commentaries, deleted scenes, the theatrical trailer, a tv spot, animated storyboards, and more. So to make the Blu-ray worth the purchase, the studio wants footage of Dekker and writer Shane Black watching and commenting on the movie in the bottom right hand corner of the screen while the movie is playing. Sold!!! I love it and any true fan would love it too. Dekker is all in and basically rests the Blu-ray possibilities in the hands of Black. If he agrees, everybody will be in for a crystal clear treat.
We're all in the God damn club, aren't we?!
