Let The Tears Run Down Your Face
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsGeorge Lucas has confirmed that Han Solo will not be appearing in the Star Wars live-action television series that Lucas is producing indepenantly.
Lucas also reiterated that while the animated The Clone Wars series stars familiar characters from the movie, "The live-action has nobody there, because it's after Episode III, so everybody's dead, basically, or hiding somewhere. You hear about the Emperor, just like you do in Episode IV, but it's mostly about a whole different world. I mean, there are a million stories in the big city — you've only seen one of them. [Laughs]."
Lucas has got the series plotted out at approxiamately 100 episodes. This should be very exciting for fans of the universe. I am still keeping my fingers crossed for the appearance of Boba Fett.
By the way, pretty damn good Lego Han, right?

Live-Action Star Wars
By Saving A Sketch, You Agree To Our Terms and ConditionsA new report on collider.com says that the live-action Star Wars television show could be described as "Deadwood meets The Sopranos" and is likely to feature gangsters and perhaps a crime family. For months there has been speculation that Boba Fett will play a role in the series, which would work well if he is involved with the Huts and other crime families.
While it's still unclear where the live-action series will end up airing, collider says Showtime and HBO are both top contenders. The report also says that the upcoming The Clone Wars animated series is aimed more at children, while the live-action series is more PG-13 and darker in nature.
George Lucas is heavily involved with both of these projects and both are sure to be a total success for fans of the franchise. I have complete faith in Lucas. Haters please lay your lame ass issues to rest.
