Mark Wahlberg On Max Payne
Exclusive: Mark Wahlberg on Max Payne
ComingSoon.net: Were you a big fan of the game?
Mark Wahlberg: No, I didn't even know about the game until after I read the script. I checked it out and I was surprised at how much video games have changed. I grew up playing Pac-Man, so I was interested to see how cinematic it was.

Mark Wahlberg Not A Fan Of Andy Samberg’s ‘Mark Wahlberg Talks To Animals’ SNL Sketch
It popped up in the wee hours of last weekend on “Saturday Night Live,” and has now become one of the hottest viral clips on the Internet. But what does the real Marky Mark think of Andy Samberg’s “Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals” sketch?
(What? You haven’t seen the sketch yet? Check it out after the jump!)
“Uh, I didn’t think it was as funny as I’d hoped,” said the rapper-turned-actor, whose new flick “Max Payne” opens October 17th. In the sketch, Samberg does a dead-on imitation of the “Boogie Nights” star, randomly approaching a dog (“I like your fur, that’s really great!”), a donkey (“You eat apples, right? I produce ‘Entourage’!”) and a goat (“I had a beard like that in ‘The Perfect Storm’!”) and ending each encounter with the same terse farewell for his interview...

The City That Saved Mark Wahlberg
I was talking yesterday with my super-awesome cousin Jessica about how I like Mark Wahlberg (as an actor) ever since he played the role of "Tommy Corn" in I Heart Huckabees (2004). Wahlberg's character Tommy Corn was a Fireman and environmentalist who rides his bike everywhere because he can't bring himself to consume petroleum and support the greedy corporations while ruining the environment. In the movie, he compares using Petroleum to murder (See video clip below).
Cousin Jessica informed me that Wahlburg had purchased a ticket to fly from his hometown Boston to Los Angeles on the morning of Thursday, September 11th, 2001 on United Flight 93. His plans changed at the last minute when he decided on September 10th to go to Toronto to attend some Toronto International Film Festival parties before flying to Los Angeles directly from Toronto instead of via Boston.
After a night of...

Mark Wahlberg Vs SNL
ZACH:
A week ago, fellow We Watch For You blogger Ryan posted a video of Andy Samberg playing Wahlberg and talking to animals. Now, the star of Shooter speaks out:
Mark Wahlberg Casts More Doubt Over Aronofsky's 'Fighter'
It's like Darren Aronofsky week at the Playlist.
Yesterday, we brought you the unfortunate and exclusive news that Brad Pitt has dropped out of the supporting role in Aronofsky's "The Fighter" which was supposed to star him and Mark Wahlberg as boxing brothers based on the true-story lives of welterweight champion, "Irish" Micky Ward and his brother, a former boxer, drug addict and then fisticuffs trainer, Dicky Eckland.
Today ComingSoon.net has more info via an interview Mark Wahlberg and it cast further doubt on the project, but also... kinda not.
Asked what's holding up the project, Wahlberg alludes to the bad news about Pitt. "A whole bunch of things [are holding the project up]. It's too depressing to talk about. I get up everyday at 5:00AM to train for a movie that might not even happen. It's depressing."
When asked about what's happening with "The Departed...
