Do yourself a favor and go see Tropic Thunder. If not for Ben Stiller, do it for Tom Cruise. Cruise's out of character performance is amazing and show stealing. If you never liked Cruise, it will be hard not to after you watch this movie.
The cameo filled Tropic Thunder has a very good chance to be the best comedy of the year!

In recent news, Jolie is expected to replace Tom Cruise in Columbia Pictures’ upcoming spy thriller “Edwin A. Salt,” according to Variety.
Although most of the story will remain intact, screenwriter Kurt Wimmer will rewrite as much as is needed to turn the leading male character into a woman.
I can hardly believe it. There is a possibility of a Top Gun sequel. Very exciting.
Tom Cruise has been asked to reprise his role as cocky fighter-pilot Maverick, 22 years after the first film, Top Gun.
A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "The idea is Maverick is at the Top Gun school as an instructor - and this time it is he who has to deal with a cocky new female pilot."
While this is hard to believe it would still be awesome if Cruise would return to his roots.

Recent rumors have been spreading that Will Smith is now into scientology just like his friend Tom Cruise. Will Smith told the New York Daily News on Tuesday that:
"You don't have to be Jewish to be a friend of Steven Spielberg. You don't have to be a Muslim to be a friend of Muhammad Ali. And you don't have to be a Scientologist to be a friend of Tom Cruise, I am a Christian," the 39-year-old added. "I am a student of all religions. And I respect all people and all paths."
