Anquan Boldin of the Arizona Cardinals is fed up with his organization. Boldin asked to be trade because he believes his situation between him and his organization will not be resolved. Anquan has gone to also say he has no relationship at all with his head coach Ken Whisenhunt. This would be a huge blow to the Cardinals if they release this superstar but this issue seems severe enough where they may have no other choice but to trade him.

Goodbye Manny Ramirez!

The Dodgers trade for Ramirez while the Red Sox pay the remaining $7 million on his contract.

It's looks as if the Pirates Jason Bay is going to Boston as part of the deal and in return the team will receive 4 minor leaguers as part of the three-way deal.

According to sources, third baseman Andy LaRoche and right-handed pitcher Bryan Morris will go to the Pirates from the Dodgers. Outfielder Brandon Moss and right-handed pitcher Craig Hansen will leave the Red Sox organization for Pittsburgh.

Manny Ramirez: MLB Trade Deadline

The real question everybody wants to know, is will Manny Ramirez going to be traded? Highly unlikely.

The MLB trade deadline is July 31st and the only teams with an outside chance of picking up Ramirez is the New York Mets or the Philadelphia Phillies. Both of these teams would most likely only take Ramirez in a give-away deal.

The Red Sox need Ramirez, so if they can't find somebody to replace him and won't get anything for him in a trade, most likely they will retain him for the rest of the season.

Next year, the Red Sox will decline Ramirez's $20 million option.

Packers Shopping Favre

According to NFL analyst Adam Schefter, the Green Bay Packers have contacted 20 teams about a possible trade for future Hall or Famer, Brett Favre.

Roger Goodell talked to Packers GM Ted Thompson, who confirmed the team was ready to move on without Favre. Goodell asked Thompson to begin exploring the market for the disgruntled QB, acccording to WEAU 13, an NBC television affiliate in Wisconsin.

The most talk about a team in the NFC, is quarterback happy Jon Gruden's Tampy Bay Buccaneers. Gruden has a history with Favre as his former quarterbacks coach.

If a deal is going to get done, it should happen soon. Camps are starting and there is sure to be a media frenzy around a trade involving Favre.

Favre's best shot at winning another Super Bowl is with the Packers, but other NFL fans can't help imagine the possibilities if Favre were to join their favorite team.

Places I would like to see Favre:

Vikings (but won't happen with the tampering charges)

Eagles (only if McNabb's injury is more serious then thought)

Bears (just isn't going to happen)

Tampa Bay (it works for me...he could help their struggling offense)

Ravens (dumb not to sign him)

Dolphins (would be fun, they haven't had somebody good since Mario)

Titians (could use him and Young at the same time)

Jets (why not, all their quarterbacks suck)

Redskins (could make them an actual contender, otherwise they are 3rd or 4th best in their division)

Jeremy Shockey Trade To Saints

Monday afternoon, Jeremy Shockey was traded to the New Orleans Saints for two draft picks in the 2009 draft. Jeremy Shockey will meet up with coach Sean Payton again. Payton was offensive coordinator in New York during Shockey's rookie year and Shockey caught more passes for more yards that season than he did in any of his following seasons.

I think this was a good trade for both teams as long as Jeremy Shockey shows that last years injury will not affect his game. Giants have a young athletic tight end who showed he was ready to play during the Super Bowl Champions playoff run. The Saints who struggled last year can always use more weapons as they look to prove to the NFL that last season was nothing but a fluke.

The trade will not be official until it is approved by the league and Jeremy Shockey can pass his physical.
