Return Of The Favre

Guess who's back...back again. Favre is back...tell a friend.

The Green Bay Packers reluctantly embraced Brett Favre’s forced return to the football field Sunday, after failing to bribe Favre into staying retired.

This is the right choice for the Packers, Favre, the fans, and for the NFL. With Favre's return, the Packers are now contenders for a Super Bowl appearance. Well, that is if they name him the starter for the cheese heads.

The NFL announced Sunday that Favre will be reinstated and added to the Packers’ active roster on Monday.

The reinstatement will become effective at 1 p.m. EDT Monday, when Favre will be added to the Packers’ active roster. By reinstating Favre, Roger Goodell is following through on a recent promise to force action.

A trade still remains a possibility.

Head coach, Mike McCarthy will now talk to the team and the quarterbacks about the plan moving forward, and after he has done that, the organization will share it publicly.

Favre could be on the field as early as Tuesday, which is the team's next public practice.

The Green Bay Packers should kill themselves if they don't hand over the starting position to Favre by the end of training camp. Favre has been their leader for far to long to let an unestablished player steal his position after leading the team to the NFC Championship game last season.

After a text message to ESPN's Ed Werder, many people speculate that Brett Favre will accept an offer from the Green Bay Packers to stay retired.

I WILL SAY ONE THING: IF BRETT FAVRE ACCEPTS THIS OFFER HE IS A P*SSY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Favre Faxed His Reinstatement

Brett Favre faxed in his letter seeking reinstatement to the NFL on Tuesday. Within 24 hours commissioner Roger Goodell will reinstate Favre, then the Packers have another 24 hours until they have to add him onto the active 80 man roster.

On Thursday, the Packers have off, so the earliest we can expect Favre in training camp is Friday. Friday is unlikely as well, unless the Packers have a change of heart and allow Favre to compete for HIS starting position.

Brett sure does look good in Chicago colors. I think he'd even look better in purple.

Favre Doesn't Report To Camp

Future Hall of Fame Quarterback Brett Favre has reached a compromise with Green Bay General Manager Ted Thompson and will not report to training camp which began at 7:30am Central time this Sunday.

In an effort not to be a distraction to what seems will be his former team, Favre is allowing the organization time to work a deal with another team.

Favre also said: "I've also spoken with Commissioner [Roger] Goodell a couple of times this week, in hopes that he could be some sort of arbitrator in this. I hope he can be."

Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy isn't quite sure how this will play out over the next few days. But he does know this much: Favre or no Favre, Aaron Rodgers is his starting quarterback.

Well, if McCarthy can't tell you how it's going to play out, then I can. The Packers will trade Favre and the team will struggle to make the playoffs this season. If the Packers are lucky they could possibly slip in to the playoffs week 16 or 17 only because the NFC sucks.

This is a bad move by the Packers, who are a young franchise with a bright future. Their bright future could have been right now. Favre gives this team an immediate shot at winning a Super Bowl and you are going to trade him away so Aaron Rogers gets a fair shake?

Let's be real. This isn't Pop Warner football, where everybody gets a chance to play. The best should take the field and we all know Favre is better then Rogers. I think even Rogers knows that...
